Representing Retailers : Washington Square Partners is often retained to identify locations, negotiate leases or purchases of development sites. We have represented Pathmark Stores for several years and most recently in a development plan with Pfizer, Inc. for the development of a new retail center on a brownfield site adjacent to Pfizer’s plant in the Williamsburg section of Brooklyn, New York. We represented the Thypin family in the long term lease of their vacant industrial site on the Long Island City waterfront for development of the first Costco in New York City.
