Peter Schlam and Harvey Stone founded the Firm in 1981. The two had worked together in the United States Attorney's Office for the Eastern District of New York, where Mr. Schlam was Executive Assistant United States Attorney and Mr. Stone was Chief of the Appeals Division. Richard Dolan, who had also served in the Eastern District United States Attorney’s Office, in the Civil Division, joined them in 1982. The Firm became Schlam Stone & Dolan, a litigation firm dedicated to excellence in every aspect of advocacy. Since that time, the Firm has grown to twelve attorneys, and has current plans for additional growth.
