The Community Church of New York encourages the personal spiritual/religious growth of its members and seeks to create a more just society and world. Our congregation is one of a handful of Unitarian Universalist congregations across the continent with significant racial, economic and cultural diversity. We have also joined in affirming the UUA's Welcoming Congregation Program and honor diversity of affectional orientation. With nearly 400 adult members and 50+ children and teens in our Sunday School, we cherish the sense of community we find - the caring and friendship of diverse, kindred spirits.
