The Childbirth Education Association of Metropolitan New York is a nonprofit organization of childbirth professionals and consumer advocates committed to family-centered maternity care. CEA/MNY supports childbirth as a natural physiological process and encourages women and their partners to recognize their unique and individual abilities to cope successfully with the challenges of labor, birth and parenting. We recognize and respect that there are many ways of birthing and we support each woman's right to choose the care best suited to her needs.
