Velvet Abashian is the Broker and Owner of Avian Village Realty, Inc which she started in 1990 after a decade of working for major Manhattan Real Estate Firms. She first aquired her Real Estate License in 1979 after a career in Medical Photography. In the past 23 years Velvet has personally completed over 1100 Rentals and more than 70 Sales Transactions. Her Real Estate experience includes being a Landlord for over 20 years, and a New York City Broker for more than 2 Decades. She is knowledgeable about Construction, Property Management, and is the former President of the Condominium Association at 13 Morton Street where her office is located. Velvet is a Graduate of Wagner College with a degree in Philosophy and Eastern Religions and spent a year abroad living in Austria.
