America-Israel Friendship League Inc, New York

The America-Israel Friendship League was founded by dignitaries such as Hubert H. Humphrey, Nelson A. Rockefeller, civil rights leader A. Philip Randolph, and Congressman Herbert Tenzer. This diverse, bi-partisan group shared a common appreciation for the value of American-Israeli relations. They created the AIFL to facilitate a strong and enduring friendship between our two nations, one that could serve as a model for democracies everywhere. This spirit of mutual understanding and engaged citizenship has guided our efforts for more than thirty years.
