Dr. Meimaris is the founder of Accent on Health Ob/Gyn, P.C., and an Assistant Clinical Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at New York University School of Medicine where she finds receptive soil for her passion for teaching and research. Dr. Meimaris came to the United States soon after receiving her MD from the Rostov-on-Don Medical Institute in Russia. She received her second doctorate degree from New York College of Osteopathic Medicine (NYIT), Old Westbury, NY. In the course of nine years, she went through training in two medical schools Russian and American - that used two different approaches: allopathic and osteopathic. The experience has given Dr. Meimaris a unique perspective and appreciation of medicine and taught her a holistic multidisciplinary approach to patient care.
